Due to the tragic news, students are not expected to work on any homework for both Science and Geography this week. If any student would like to talk to me, my door is always open.

My thoughts and praises are with the Sligh family.

After handing out Progress reports, we went to Publix Go Green Video Contest and watched some of the other competitors movies. Some of these entries showed how important it is to do loads of planning before you hit the record button.

Have a great long weekend.

Thank you Mrs. Harden for covering my classes today.  In Geography, students watched an episode of Planet Earth. In Science, students got to see a BBC documentary entitled ‘Time Machine’.

I had to visit the immigration office in Charleston. Don’t worry, I am not getting deported. I am starting the process of becoming an American citizen!

After ensuring all the G0-Green videos were successfully shared on the network folder, the next two weather assignments were discussed. To give students great freedom on when they work on these assignments (and to develop good organizational skills), students will be given all the requirements now and then given a deadline date of approximately two weeks time.

Students do not need to start working on the weather assignments now. I will post details on tomorrow’s blog and will further discuss requirements in class on Wednesday.
