Excel-lent Fun

Problem Solving, Technology No Comments »

The students have had a busy week; they received their laptops on Monday and are delving into the mysteries of Excel. We’re exploring what Excel can do using formulas: the students are researching conversion rates and making tables of different unit conversions. They also took a water use survey in which Excel was used to calculate their average water use (based on a rainy Saturday at home), which the students found very interesting.
