About the Teacher
This is my third year in the middle school at Country Day. Before that I worked in the lower school for three years. I can’t believe this will be my sixth year at Country Day! I began my career as an electrical engineer, having graduated from Georgia Tech, working for a consulting firm in Atlanta. I met my husband there and we proceeded to live in various places around the globe over the next few years, moving to Hawaii, Bolivia, Northern Virginia and finally coming back to Georgia with our son, Ethan, a current fifth grader in the lower school.
I’m happy to be teaching technology in the middle school because I really enjoy being with the students and watching them develop into mature middle schoolers over the course of the year.
