Homework: Please finish your autobiographies.

1. Make corrections on chapters 1&2 according to my suggestions. (Period 1 is exempt from chapter 2 corrections.)

2. Read over chapters 3, 4, and 5 and correct any glaring errors BY YOURSELF. You will not be graded on the edits for these three chapters.

3. Make sure each chapter is long enough. (3 pages)

4. Include at least 3 pictures per chapter.

5. Create a cover and label your pictures.

Turn in Autobio.

Here are some other suggestions:
1. Review all chapters from the book by making brief summaries of each one. Include only the major events and character developments.

2. Read through notes from class and make more notes in your old notes (comment on things that you see foreshadowing in, star pieces of info. that you had forgotten, make connections between events, etc.)

3. Review any quizzes that you took

4. Review the practice test

5. Look for passages in your book that we’ve underlined or highlighted. Think about the significance of each one.

Remember that you’ll need to come up with TWO significances for each quote (SQuIDS) on the test.
Your options for significance include:
1. Historical Meaning
2. Plot Development (You have to be specific and tell me what part of the plot it is: climax, inciting action, rising action, conclusion, etc.)
3. Character Development
4. Literary Device (Foreshadowing, Irony, Suspense, etc.)
5. Author’s Agenda
6. Theme
