Today, we went over the definition for our words and worked on our posters for the words. Here’s the list with my definitions and sentences. Quiz will be next week. Animal Farmvocab Homework: Please read ch.2 of Animal Farm and be prepared for a reading quiz.

On Friday, students will be drawing pictures for all of our words and writing sentences about their pictures using the vocabulary words themselves. Homework: Please read the first chapter of Animal Farm.

Today, we finished our notes on all of the important figures in Russian history, from Nicholas II through Stalin, who will figure prominantly in our novel. Homework: Please define the fifteen new words from Animal Farm. Try to put those words in sentences of your own creation.

On Wednesday, we took notes on George Orwell, Animal Farm, and Russian History. Homework: Please get your progress report signed.
