OU HABITENT-ILS 2012

OU HABITENT-ILS 2012

LF 70 jeudi 3 mai

1)  Etudiez la feuille verte.  Petite Interro demain?

2)  Les Animaux…Come to class tomorrow prepared to give a brief description of an animal so that the class can guess the name.  For example, you might say:  Cet animal est brun. Use the attached document as an aide.  This exercise is worth twenty points, a speaking grade.

Qui fait quoi?

  • Brandt = un tigre et un loup
  • Henry = un hibou et un pingouin
  • Anna Rose = un chat et un rat
  • MJ = un âne et une fourmi
  • Grace Jackson = un écureuil et un agneau
  • Lester = une souris et un chien
  • Phoenix = une abeille et une mouffette
  • Grace Harrison = une baleine et un oiseau
  • Charlotte = un crabe et une crevette
  • Banshri = un cochon et un singe
  • William = un requin et un poisson
  • Grace Archer = un lapin et un renard
  • Frida = une poule et une vache
  • Emily = une tortue et un rhinocéros
  • Tristan = un mouton et une grenouille

1)  Etudiez les verbes communs – la feuille verte.  Vous allez avoir un examen BIENTOT (soon).

2)  Les Animaux.  Make up a matching quiz worth TEN points.  Hand write it.  French to English.  Bring it to class DEMAIN.  This will be worth 10 effort grade points.

3)  Follow this link:  www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxi-8DfgHG4Watch the Walt Disney video.  It’s about 8 minutes long.  Answer the following questions on a separate sheet of paper that you will turn in when you get to class jeudi:

1.  In what year did this video win an Oscar?

2.  Who live in a « hutte »?

4.  » Qui cranit le grand MECHANT loup? »  When do you hear this question?

5.  Qui souffle?

6.  The LOUP comes back to the wood house disguised as what kind of animal?  Give the French word.

7.  What does le LOUP come disguised as at the brick house?  Does it work?

8.  Qui joue du piano?

9.  What happens to the LOUP after he falls into the eau bouillante?

10.  What joke does the oldest COCHON play on his two younger brothers at the end of the video?

Take home your progress reports and all of the assessments attached.  Your parents should look over your work, talk to you about what we are doing, and then sign.  You need to also make sure to correct, in particular, the LAST page on your test.  It might be a good idea to use www.wordreference.com or your verb chart in the back on your book.  Also, see the directions from yesterday.  Are you ready?

Incroyable!

Visit this web site, and do the practice quiz.  Do it as many times as you need to to get 100%.  Take your time, and have some fun.

Your test over chapter 6 is this Friday:  vendredi 27 avril

Examen – vendredi 24 avil

Once you have everything completed, and you believe ALL of your answers to be correct, translate sentences 1-14 on the back.  Look up ANY words you do not understand!!!!

Oh, and one more thing, you know that dialogue between the vendor and Mme Brun?  You might want to consider reading it AGAIN in your textbook.  I’m thinking yet another Listening Comprehension exercise will be coming your way in the very near future.

STUDY:  FAIRE, ETRE, ALLER & AVOIR!  You will have a pop quiz tomorrow in class.

Examen – Chapitre 6 – vendredi 27 avril!!

In France, the 2012 presidential elections will take place this Sunday.  It’s very exciting.  So, I’d like for you to visit this web site: http://www.francetv.fr/2012/.  Everything is in French.  DON’T panic!  What I want you to do is to write down the names of the 10 candidates who are running for president.  If you can tell me the names of the TWO winners, that would be awesome!
