ALLER, AVOIR, ETRE, PRENDRE (APPRENDRE, COMPRENDRE), & BOIRE! You must, must, must learn these and know these as well as I do. Write, write, write, & write them out some more!
Your skits….LES SKETCHS….I would like for the groups to submit one polished copy on mercredi 22 FEVRIER. Your group will receive one grade – 50 points. I am looking for correct vocabulary that is rich and sophisticated, I am looking to see that you used phrases, expressions, and words from inside Chapter 5, I am looking for correct sentence structures, I am looking for imagination, I am looking for proper spelling and verb conjugations, and I am looking for creativity.

BONNE FETE DE LA SAINT VALENTIN! I hope that everyone had a good time making their FRENCH Valentine’s Day cards! As you were doing that and I was looking over your work, it is clear to me that some of you are not being careful with your spelling. Since you are encouraged to use all of the resources you have (vocabulary lists, your textbook, www.wordreference.com, etc…) as you are working, I really must insist that your spelling errors be almost non-existent. If you have a lot of red markings on your work that I checked today, please take the time to fix your errors. Don’t be suprised if we have a quiz over ALLER, PRENDRE (comprendre, apprendre), & BOIRE tomorrow, mercredi 15 FEVRIER. Also, look over your Chapter 5 vocabulary words for about 10 minutes.

We’ll go over the four workbook exercises that you did jeudi soir on mardi 14 FEVRIER. Please make sure that they are done to the BEST of your ability.
Cahier = Workbook….Do exercise 4, pg. 45.
Livre – Do exercise 10, pg. 161. Do exercise 18, pg. 164. For exercise 18, do you understand what Anne and Jean are saying in the dialogue? If not, take the time to make sure you understand all of the vocabulary. It might just be useful for your skit.

In your textbook…..
Do exercises 2 (p. 156), 9 (p. 160), & 15 (p. 163). Make sure to write out your answers using complete sentences. Just writing the answer is NOT sufficient.
