USH:   we worked on vocabulary lists today, and etexts.  we will try to finish these texts this week!

GEO:  we viewed the video montages today in both classes.  Matthew and Mason, in my opinion, had the best overall presentation.  We also hung the timelines, and began working on large maps of the countries.

USH:  Today, in class, we worked on etexts, causes and vocabulary lists.  Also, in two classes, we heard recitations of “The Duel.”  All three people did very well.

GEO:  Timelines are starting to come in and are being hung in the stairwell.  Tomorrow, both timelines and video montages are due!

USH:  (1)  Vocabulary test will be May 9.  We passed out study guides today.

(2)  In two classes, we heard our first poetry recitation

(3)  Etexts are being worked on; causes of the Civil War, as well.

GEO:  We worked on timelines and video montages.  These are due at the end of class on Friday, this week.

USH:  I have added a page to the left concerning how I will grade you as you recite your poem in class.  Please look at it as you prepare!  Classes, again were a combination of working on causes of the Civil War, and work on the etexts.

GEO:  We have three more days until timelines and video montages are due!!

USH:  each class split into two groups:  one group will continue to work on etexts, editing, revising, etc.; the other group has begun working on causes of the civil war.

GEO:  timeline research is being down by each class.  along with the actual timeline, the groups will prepare a video montage depicting the history of their country.

USH:  Today, all three classes engaged in a fierce crossword puzzle challenge.  They classes vied for the ultimate prize:  6 points on this past test!  It looks as if 3rd period has emerged victorious.

GEO:  Both classes began working on their timelines and video montage.  These are due at the end of class next week (April 27th).

ush:  Today, one class worked on etexts; a second class discussed minimester and outward bound; a third class did a combination of the two.

GEO:  today, we finished watching european travelogues.  Tomorrow, we will begin working on our timelines and slideshows.

ush:  today, we had a test. this test was designed to have you show me your thought process for two questions pertaining to the constitution, et al.

geo:  we continued viewing european travelogues.  when we finish with them, we will move on to timelines!!!!!!!!!

kwasny:historygeography

USH:  for the most part, it looks like all groups, in all three classes, made their deadlines today!  When we reconvene after mini-mester, once the test is done, we will put together what we have.

GEO:  all groups appear to be ready for presentations.  the european travelogues are complete.  we will move next to time lines.

USH:  Once again, the classes worked on etexts.  3rd period’s historical fiction seems to be coming together nicely…I especially like the proposed ending!

GEO:  as their thursday deadline approached, each class worked in small groups on their european travelogues.  we will watch these after minimester.  next up will be a timeline for the individual countries.
