USH:  we continued discussing the civil war, and touched on topics such as:  weaponry; casualties; causation.  1st and 2nd periods have finished their etexts!!!  3rd is close to being finished….

GEO:  all maps are done, i think.  now, we are working on and hanging up flags of the countries.

USH:  today, we began discussing the civil war. we will spend this week on the war, and then, i hope, view a film next week!  get tests signed, if you have not already done so.

GEO:  maps of europe are due today.  now, we will work on a flag project this week.

USH:  we returned tests today and went  over them.  overall, they were good this time!!  it looks like 1st period has finished its etetx; 2nd is very close; 3rd, as well.

GEO:  finishing up maps and hanging them.

USH:   Vocab Test today!!!!  overall, grades are not too bad: plenty of excellent tests this time.

GEO:  maps are coming in and being hung in the hallway.

kwasny:historygeography

USH:  today, final preparation for tomorrow’s vocab test.  also, the last pieces have fallen into place with the etetxts; it is not unrealistic to hope that two will be done later this week.

GEO:  continuation of work on national maps.

kwasny:historygeography

USH:  1st and 2nd periods are very close to being done with their etexts!!!  3rd period, having the toughest task, is close behind.  we have a vocabulary test this wednesday. be sure that your vocab guide is complete and thorough.

GEO:  we worked on national maps in class today.  these are due at the end of class on friday.

kwasny:historygeography

USH:   no class finished the etext!!!  oh well…maybe next week.  remember the test on wednesday.

GEO:  we worked on national maps today in class. these will be due at the end of class next friday.

kwasny:historygeography

USH:  Well, no class is, as of yet, done with the etext!  2nd period still seems to be the closest; but, we shall see.  Test next Wednesday; list of causes is due at the end of class tomorrow.

GEO:  again, 6th grade field trip today.   national maps will be due after class on friday, may 11  NOT wednesday, may 9.

kwasny:historygeography

USH:  Once again, each class worked on three different things:  vocab, causes and the etext.  It looks as if 2nd period will finish the etext first!!!

GEO:  no class today….6th grade field trip…….
