Teaching 8th Grade English (also 10th Grade English 2000-2003). Experienced in teaching grammar, composition, creative writing, and the exploration and analysis of literature.
1997-2009 Harambee Summer Enrichment Program: Teacher
Teaching creative writing in a summer program for gifted African-American students in the Savannah area.
1997-Current MS English Department Head
Helping colleagues in the upper and middle schools share more effectively. Initiated and organized an English Scope and Sequence to facilitate more creative curriculum. Maintain helpful dialogue between English teachers at the school.
