RESEARCHING DUCKS
Students researched various types of ducks and geese. The Canada Goose (Branta canadensis), the Gadwall (Anas stepera), The Green-winged Teal (Anas crecca), The Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos), the Northern Pintail (Anas acuta), the Blue- winged Teal (Anas cyanoptera), the Canvasback (Aythya valisineria) and the Hooded Merganser (Lophodytes cucullatus) are among the ducks students are studying.
