Exam materials (calendar, review sheets, problems, and a comprehensive list of what the exam will cover) was handed out in MA 85, MA 83, and MA 80 today. In most cases you should start organizing and be ready to begin that material (review) no later than Wednesday or Thursday THIS WEEK.
MA 85 – GEOMETRY – Today we almost finished our discussion of Volume, Surface area and lateral area. We will discuss pyramids, cones, cylinders and spheres tomorrow. Quiz on Chapter 15 at the end of the week. HW – spend 30-45 minutes on the packet.
MA 83 – Today we worked on reviewing of factoring. We will continue working on chapter 12 through Thursday. Homework tonight is to get Chapter 11 Test signed (corrections are due no later than Friday), Do worksheet Skills Practice 16 #1-14, 17 and 23. You also need to do 5 additional problems from our notes today.
MA 80 – Today we continued reviewing factoring. You need to do the 5 problems from notes today and also do Skills Practice 16 #1-14. By tomorrow you need to have your Chap. 11 Test signed (for points). Corrections to this test are due by Friday. Be organized and ready to start reviewing by thursday!

Geometry – Today in class we reviewed problems and factoring. Your quiz corrections are due at the end of the week. Tonight for homework p. 602 #33 and 34; p. 609 #34-40 and Read 15-1 and define skew and oblique. In class on Thursday you will be given a packet. You are to work on the packet and then spend approx. 30 minutes on the packet for homework. Because of fine arts night you do not need to finish it at this time. Its preparation for exams!
Honors – Today in class we worked on factoring. Tonight you are to do the worksheet Basic Practice 4 #7-24 and read 12-4. Tomorrow in class you will be given a packet and a single worksheet. You are to do the packet in class and the single worksheet is homework unless you finish it in class.
Algebra – Today in class we worked on factoring by using formulas. Tonight you are to do the worksheet Basic Practice 4 if you have not finished it already. Tomorrow in class you will be given a packet and a single worksheet. You are to do both. Whatever you don’t finish in class will be homework.

Geometry – Today you are to review your notes on Lines/Equations and do a graded worksheet (you may use your notes). You also need to be reviewing chapter 12 and 14 (Circles and Formulas for secants, chord length, arc length and sector area). Your corrections to the Chp. 12 Quiz are due Thursday at the latest.
Honors – Today you had a test on Chapter 11. We will begin our final chapter of the year tomorrow. Tonight you are to do the circled problems on the Worksheet “Comprehensive Test Chapters 1-9″. This is a great exam review — hint hint!!

It is time to turn up the heat. This is the critical point to turn up the degrees and make the difference in the next few weeks.
Geometry – You need to finish your secant / chord worksheet (spend 30 minutes).
Honors Algebra – Do the graphs on worksheet 10-9 (the first six) and then attempt worksheet 10-10 #3,4 and 5. Also you need to correct the three quizzes/graded homework that was returned today.
Algebra – Do worksheet 11-3 and try 11-4. You also need to correct the two quizzes/graded homework assignments that were returned today.

Geometry – Don’t forget to review law of sines and law of consines. You need to do p. 431-432 #15-30, 48-51. Read 12-1, 12-2, and 12-3.
Honors Algebra – We worked on Matrices today. You need to practice multiplying them. Tomorrow we will practice determinants and inverses. Do as much of the worksheet as you can.
Algebra – You need to do review 10-9 and 10-10 from class today. You also need to do p. 642 #1-6, 9 and p. 648 #1,2,4,5, 6, 10, 13, and 16.

Keep in mind this is the last week before mini mester! If you need to take the Order of Operations Proficiency or make up quizzes they need to be done SOONER rather than later.
Geometry – Today we actually took an algebra review quiz. You need to review chapter 11 section 1 and be prepared to go over that homework on monday. If you have remaining questions about chapter 10 ask them. Otherwise we will most likely have a take home quiz and move straight into chapter 12.
Honors Algebra - today we worked on matrices. We will work on matrix multiplication on Monday and you will still have a test on Chapter 10 on Thursday. Please be sure to read 10-9 and 10-10 for Monday and bring two highlighters.
Algebra - We took notes on 10-9 and a little on 10-10. Your homework is to do the first 6 problems (graphs) on the front of the worksheet and then do #3 on the back. Keep in mind you need to be organized — Test Thursday!

Monday I was attending the Student Diversity Leadership Training in Columbia, SC. The students and I had a great time. However, the rest of you had work to do. So I have included Monday and Tuesday assignments below!
Geometry – p. 425 #1-10 and p. 426 #1-25 odd, You will have an Algebra review quiz on these sections on Friday. For Thursday you have a review worksheet from chp. 10 graded for accuracy. Yes, you have two days!
Honors - On Monday you were to be working on your presentations of systems of equations and the various methods. Tonight you need to do your peer evaluation, then do p. 619 #2, 6, 7, 9, 11-15, 18, 19, and 21.
