Hello everybody, today has been a difficult day, but we did our best taking care of each other, and having good memories about Stuart.  It is good we kept busy with the script, and more busy we’ll be making the movie, I cannot wait to see the results! You have to learn your lines pretty good, and I’m sure you will.  The exam is not until next Thursday, and you have an extra week for the Supersite.  Take good care of yourselves, eat properly, and sleep 7-8 hours at least.  Hasta mañana y un abrazo para todos.

IT is good to see you learn difficult material.  The possessive adjectives are complex, we only need to repeat them as many times as possible.  Next class I’m going to ask you lots of questions, and you’ll realize how easy they are.  Keep looking at my blog because I’m going to post a study guide.  The reading exercise we did today was practical and instructive.  Now you know how to infer from a reading and how to use the cognates and false cognates.  Some of your accents are very, very good,  keep practicing!

I’m sure your second quiz on direct object pronouns was better.  I’m glad I had the new project ready.  Some of you are almost finished.  I’m going to change the date for this project, I told you it was due on Tuesday and I’ve decide to change it to Wednesday, this way you’ll have Tuesday to finish it in class.  If you read this journal, call your classmates and let them know.  I’m pleased you can do a complex translation.  Over the weekend take a look at my blog because the study guide will be ready.  Have fun with the translation!

EL DICTADO was efficient because not only did we learn about the direct object noun, but also about some phonetics.  Remember that to keep the sound [GE] from RECOGER, the YO form needs to be changed to a J, for instance, in ¿RECOGES A LOS NIÑOS? the answer must be RECOJO.  The exercises in the net were good and the passing of the ball I hope constructive.  We have a long week ahead before the test.  Keep studying all we did on chapter five.  The study guide is coming!

The game has been a success!! they get really involved and learned about the conjugations. The winners got chocolate.  We also had time to see the possessive adjectives again.  They are complex because we use the same for his, her, you formal and theirs, SU and SUS will take the place of all those in English.  Tomorrow will continue reviewing before the test.

¡¡¡¡¡FELIZ DÍA DE SAN VALENTÍN!!!!!

Congratulation to the winners!!!!! I’ll give you chocolate mañana.  (MORE CHOCOLATE¡¡¡¡¡¡¡).  The other class, we’ll finish the game and you’ll have your chocolates as well.  We need to review the possessive adjective because I realized today you made mistakes with  exercise number 2 from the book.  The other exercises were fine.  Remember that the adjectives MUST agree with the noun, if we have las comutadoras and we want to give to this noun an adjective, this need to agree with computadoras, that’s it, las computadoras son rojas or mi tía es mexicana.  We’ll review this too.  Thank you all for the chocolates and the cards, you really touched my heart.  HASTA MAÑANA

¡¡¡¡¡FELIZ DÍA DE SAN VALENTIN!!!!!

I hope you had a great day!  Thank you all for the chocolate and cards they touched my heart!  I’m glad that today most of you got the very difficult material of the direct object nouns and pronouns, you know that it is too abstract because we don’t have it in English.  Read my blog from the previous days, there I explained all you need to know for the quiz.  Tomorrow we’ll begin a review for the exam.   The exam will be next Thursday (2/23/12) and not Wednesday, make a note of the change.  I’m going to stop eating chocolate right now!!!!!!!
